Jay R. Rooth

Jay graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida with a degree in Business and continued his education to obtain a Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University.  While at Stetson University Jay was actively involved in community service  sponsored through his fraternity Alpha Tau Omega.  Jay obtained his Law degree from Barry University Law School.  Jay is a active member of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce, the Federalist Society, Florida Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Jay Rooth is one of the founding partners of Moses and Rooth Attorneys at Law.  Jay Rooth served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Orange and Osceola County State Attorney’s Office Ninth Judicial Circuit.   Jay practiced extensively in the trial divisions of County and Circuit Courts in the Ninth Circuit.  While as an Assistant State Attorney he handled all misdemeanor offenses including domestic violence, theft, drugs, traffic offenses and violent felonies.  As a Criminal Defense Attorney in Orlando, Florida, Jay is committed to providing his clients with experienced legal representation and achieving positive results.   Areas of Practice: Drug offenses, Dui and Traffic related cases, juvenile, violent crimes, fraud, sex crimes, theft, domestic violence, violations of probation, felonies and misdemeanors.
